The Musicircus Committee

I’m Carla Hales and I’m in charge of Musicircus Colchester. I really want to encourage as many local performers as possible to use this unique event as a chance to showcase their skill and to give them an opportunity to perform. Bringing music to everyone has been a passion and a job for me for many years and I think this event will be inspiring for all.

Hi, I’m John Hales and I’m on the committee of Musicircus. I am involved as I believe this event will be an excellent way to encourage people to visit Colchester town centre to see what’s on offer as well as enjoy some fantastic live music from local musicians while they are there.

I’m Tess Greene and my great love of music all began with the amazing teachers I had growing up, first at Clacton County High School and then at Colchester Institute. I’ve worked for Essex Music Service for 27 years now, teaching students of all ages – I really enjoy making music with them.

“There is no sorrow that music cannot ease, no worry that it cannot calm. Music is joy!”

My name is Kay Gregory, and I was thrilled to be asked to be a member of the Musicircus committee. It will be a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together and fill Colchester with music and fun after a very difficult 2 years.
